Scheduled System Interface Testing of the fire and essential safety measures systems is taking place in The Units on Tuesday 15th of July between 11:30am to 12:00pm


What is System Interface Testing?
In July, I&O will conduct System Interface (SIT) Testing across the Bundoora Campus. To complete this, I&O will need to simulate a building fire alarm in buildings across the campus. This testing will set off evacuation tones and interrupt the building HVAC system for the duration of the testing in each building. Testing usually takes 30 to 60 minutes to complete in each building.
