FIRE / SYSTEMS INTERFACE TESTING - HA1, HA2, HA3, HA4, HA5, HA6 [BENDIGO]

Scheduled for Jul 15, 11:00 - 11:30 AEST

Scheduled

Scheduled System Interface Testing of the fire and essential safety measures systems is taking place in Hillside Apartments 1 - 6 on Tuesday 15th of July between 11:00am and 11:30am.

What is System Interface Testing?
In July, I&O will conduct System Interface (SIT) Testing across the Bundoora Campus. To complete this, I&O will need to simulate a building fire alarm in buildings across the campus. This testing will set off evacuation tones and interrupt the building HVAC system for the duration of the testing in each building. Testing usually takes 30 to 60 minutes to complete in each building.

Fire System Interface Testing (SIT) is an Australian Standard requirement under AS 1851 – Fire Protection Systems and will provide LTU information on how to address any issues regarding the performance of the building fire and mechanical protection systems.
